Our Story

Born from Salt and Sand

Coastal Threads started with a simple idea: surf culture deserves better clothing. Founded in 2018 by lifelong surfers who were tired of choosing between style and function, we set out to create pieces that work as well in the water as they do on the boardwalk.

Every piece in our collection is designed in Huntington Beach, inspired by the Pacific Coast lifestyle, and made with sustainable materials wherever possible. We believe in slow fashion that lasts — not fast trends that end up in landfills.

From our signature boardshorts with quick-dry recycled fabric to our organic cotton tees, everything we make is built to handle salt, sun, and sand while looking effortlessly good.

The Founder

Built by Surfers, for Surfers

Our founder grew up on Huntington Beach, spending every morning before school in the water. After years in the fashion industry, they returned to the coast with a mission: build a surf brand that respects the ocean as much as it celebrates it.

Every design decision goes through one filter: would a surfer wear this in and out of the water? If the answer is yes, it makes the cut.

What We Stand For

Our Values

Sustainable Materials

Recycled polyester, organic cotton, and eco-friendly dyes. We're committed to reducing our ocean footprint.

Designed for the Water

Every piece is tested in the surf. Quick-dry fabrics, saltwater-resistant stitching, and UPF protection where it matters.

Community First

We sponsor local surf competitions, beach cleanups, and youth surf programs. The ocean gave us everything — we give back.

Built to Last

Quality over quantity. Our pieces are designed to survive seasons of surf, not just one summer.

Our Commitment

Protecting Our Playground

The ocean is our workshop, our inspiration, and our home. We use recycled polyester from ocean plastics, organic cotton certified by GOTS, and water-based inks with zero harmful chemicals. Every product sold contributes to our partnership with local beach cleanup organizations. Because the best wave is the one you can still ride tomorrow.
